Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. This applies to clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance for services. The cost of services depends on a number of factors including your provider’s fee, frequency of services, and duration of treatment. I am transparent about the cost of therapy sessions and we will work together regarding your overall care. Out of network

Many insurance carriers will provide reimbursement for psychotherapy/counseling visits under an out-of-network benefit. In this case, I will provide an insurance receipt (superbill) for you to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. I would recommend that you first call them to see if services are covered. I do not reimburse fees for out-of-network.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment will be collected at the time of visit. I accept payment by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Health Savings Accounts. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments that are canceled without a 24-hour notice will be charged $50. You can cancel appointments by email, phone or text.

What to expect

Your therapy will begin with one or two sessions devoted to an initial assessment so that I can get a good understanding of your issues, background and your goals for therapy. I will ask some questions and you can share anything you would like to share. We can meet weekly or bi-weekly for therapy and work together to achieve your goals. Your initial appointment will be an hour and follow-up sessions will be 50-55 minutes.
